We have two different ideas circulating, and I suppose they are both confusing. Especially when they are put together.

Well we need either a false witness testimony or a forged piece of evidence to pin Becky as the suspect. We also need a real killer, that guy usually is the false witness.

Okay. So Becky is the defendant. I can work with that. Phoenix is her tutor? Can't work with that. She's tutoring Phoenix? Can work with that. Listen, you guys got some good ideas, but on the whole the idea just lacks flow. I want all of you to come up with an entire case synopsis. On your own. No outside help. Post it here, and I'll work it out. I've got a featured trial under my belt; I know what I'm doing.

The "everything is fake" thing (Janja's nickname, not mine): Becky was framed by Mr.Death and nobody else (No other attorneys) want to take on Prosecutor Gavin. To save Becky, Ben, Fraser, Kyle, and Deacon pose as a Detective, A defense Attoney, A witness, and a prosecutor (Deacons idea to be a prosecutor). They are trying to prove Becks innocence, but they have to fake it because none of them have any experience in law. If they don't, she will be guilty, and since Phoenix is a former defense attoney (Now Becky's piano tutor that she hired after hearing about his Borscht Bowl Club performances), he trained Fraser in the art of defending.
Sorry if it wasn't clear. also Mr.Death is still the murderer in my idea of the case.

I suggest we drop the "infiltration" of the court and police to free Becky. That just makes everything confusing and it can be a cause to open plot holes. I will write up a skeleton and try to create a sequence of events. You can make changes and perhaps once we are satisfied, we can go from there.

So, are we all just coming up with our own stories for now, or do we have jobs?

I think we should all focus on this case first. Come up with a basic skeleton. Answer the who what where when why hows. Post that and then we can choose what works and what doesn't until we have a general idea. From there, we can assign someone to write out a rough draft. We go over it and then we keep revising it until we're satisfied with it.
